Our winter retreat is coming up at the beginning of 2023! This 2 day retreat is packed with worship, games, and making friends. Our speaker is Pastor Don Kauffman from New Life Oak Lawn. Cost is $115 per student which includes lodging, meals, pizza party, sledding, and more activities. Rock climbing available for an additional $10 and limited to the first 50 students. Transportation will be coordinated with your location group and leaders. Victory is found when you follow Christ.

Important information for admins
- Registration: Youth and Group Leader/Volunteer forms are linked on the New Life ONE YTH website: oneyth.com
- Fundraising: All funds raised from car washes, bake/food sales, dinners, movie nights; any type of fundraising where a person is receiving something in return is considered a sale and needs to be submitted on a weekly basis with a GREEN DEPOSIT SLIP. Please do not include/add these funds to the offerings.
- Scholarships: If anyone wants to donate to cover the expense of youth at your location, contributions can be given online through the giving portal. The fund “Youth Retreat Scholarships” is available under your giving link. Contributions can also be given on Sunday’s with a note on the envelopes stating “Youth Retreat”.
- Preset discount codes for location approved sponsored youth will be distributed once registration opens. Email shirleyh@newlifechicago.org to setup your location discount.
- Locations are not to use the church credit card to sponsor anyone from their location. This is covered internally through the registrations I will see have used a discount code.
- Background Checks: Everyone serving at the retreat that is 18+ is required to complete a background check and be cleared prior to this event if they have not already done so. Please keep in mind that the leaders/volunteers that participated last summer are cleared for another year. If you want to check with me to see if your leaders/volunteers need to complete a form or not before they do, you can email me with those names and I will check for you.
