Proverbs 14:4 – “Where there are no oxen, the feeding trough is empty, but an abundant harvest comes through the strength of an ox.” (HCSB)
1. BE A HOLE FILLER.
2. BE A SUPPORT GIVER AND STRESS RELIEVER.
Hebrews 13:17 – “Obey your leaders and submit to them, for they are keeping watch over your souls, as those who will have to give an account. Let them do this with joy and not with groaning, for that would be of no advantage to you.”
3. BE A PROBLEM SOLVER.
4. BE A SYSTEMS IMPLEMENTER.
- Stewardship System
- Leadership System
- Ministry System
5. BE A PULSE TAKER AND TRUTH SPEAKER.
6. BE A VISION AMPLIFIER.
Three key things remember:
- You help the lead pastor communicate the vision.
- You step in when you see the vision being compromised.
- Never undermine the vision once it’s agreed upon by senior leadership.
