We all want to be loving, but let’s be honest, we aren’t that good at putting others first. We all want to live for something that matters, but the majority of time gets spent doing things that aren’t all that important. If we could have a face to face meeting with God right now and see and experience Him in reality we would, but let’s be honest, much of what we have seen in the Church, in Christians and even in ourselves has left us disillusioned and dissatisfied. If we were honest, we could all admit we need to change. Join us in an honest look at what life could be if we were willing to live differently.

- Let’s be honest: I’m tired of seeing Christians live just like the world (1 John 1:5-10) –Josiah & Mark Jobe
“God is light; in him there is no darkness at all. If we claim to have fellowship with him and yet walk in the darkness, we lie and do not live out the truth.” (v.5-6) - Let’s be honest: It’s not easy for me to love you (1 John 2:3-11)–Andrew Bierlein
“Anyone who claims to be in the light but hates a brother or sister is still in the darkness. Anyone who loves their brother and sister lives in the light” (v.9-10) - Let’s be honest: not every path leads to God (1 John 2:18-27) –Dan Gute
“Who is the liar? It is whoever denies that Jesus is the Christ. Such a person is the antichrist—denying the Father and the Son.” (v.22) - Let’s be honest: I don’t want to let go of my sin (1John 2:28-3:10) –Garrette Horne
“The reason the Son of God appeared was to destroy the devil’s work. No one who is born of God will continue to sin, because God’s seed remains in them; they cannot go on sinning, because they have been born of God.” (v.8-9) - Let’s be honest: I’m not too busy to help you (1 John 3:11-18) –Andrew Bierlein
“This is how we know what love is: Jesus Christ laid down his life for us. And we ought to lay down our lives for our brothers and sisters. If anyone has material possessions and sees a brother or sister in need but has no pity on them, how can the love of God be in that person? Dear children, let us not love with words or speech but with actions and in truth.” (v.16-18) - Let’s be honest: The love that we are looking for can only come from God (1 John 4:7-21) –Eric Marquez
“Dear friends, since God so loved us, we also ought to love one another. No one has ever seen God; but if we love one another, God lives in us and his love is made complete in us.” (v.11-12)
- Let’s be honest: Not everyone goes to heaven (1 John 5:1-12) –Joshua Holec
“And this is the testimony: God has given us eternal life, and this life is in his Son. Whoever has the Son has life; whoever does not have the Son of God does not have life.” (5:11-12)
