Empowered: Spirit Filled Witness
In the book of Acts, we see the followers of Jesus proclaiming the gospel message with great boldness. It wasn’t with wise words, witty stories, or eloquent speaking that they shared the Good News. In fact, in Acts 4:13 it says they were unschooled, ordinary men. So what was it that gave them such courage and boldness? It was the power of the Holy Spirit speaking through them. Today, we have many reasons why we do not share our faith. Maybe you’re afraid of what people will say or think. Maybe you feel unprepared, inadequate, and can’t find the right words to say. Or maybe you’re just too busy to stop and share with someone who may be ready to listen. However, God has empowered us through the Holy Spirit to be a bold witness in our world. In this series, you’ll learn how to overcome these obstacles and share your faith in a way that is simple, clear, and powerful.
