“What is the story of God and how do we fit into that story?” The goal of this series is to see how we fit into the big picture of God’s great story. The series will trace the core biblical truth that God wants to be “God with Us” and how he builds a home to be with his people. The story of the Bible is that God’s plan for creation is for God’s people to be in God’s place enjoying God’s presence. When humanity messed up that plan, God didn’t give up but pursued us to restore us to the home he made–and is remaking–for his us. We hope that the Big Picture story of our Home with God speaks to the ache for a true home that exists in each of our students, no matter what their earthly home situation looks like.
We’ll explore the Big Picture through the four-act scheme of Creation, Fall, Redemption, and Restoration. In this 8-week series, the first four lessons will look at this flow in the Old Testament, and the second four weeks will look at it in the New Testament.

SPECIAL GRAPHICS
IMPORTANT NOTE: We have an exciting art element to help drive home the significance of this series. Each week’s lesson will have a special graphic that corresponds to that week. Each graphic adds pieces of a puzzle together to culminate in an art piece that illustrates the theme (the home of God with his people). See the images below. At the end of each message (or whenever you see fit), you can reveal the new pieces of the puzzle culminating to reveal the Big Picture on the last week. We feel that this art piece, created specifically for this series by Michael Linsner, reveals a glimpse of God’s heart for his people. So each week you teach, make sure to also download the corresponding image.
