  • Met with Ray Bakke and asked the question “How do we choose a city?”
  • His answer – there are many rivers and streams of people that flow in and out of the city from various countries.

  • We are part of an international movement that is being birthed. It has the potential to grow and expand, but we want to do it well and healthy.

  • We need to be clear about our distinctives and what we are for, but also gracious and welcoming.
  • Less than 4% of churches in America have planted a church. Multiplication is rare.
  • The book of Acts is a training manual for discipleship and church multiplication.
  • We’re not an advocate for small or large. We advocate for disciple making.
  • Not tied into methodology, but tied into mission.
  • The default of most pastors and churches is teaching centers.
