At Christmas we make room for many things…for people and presents and parties. However, all of this activity can often crowd out the real reason we celebrate Christmas – the birth of Jesus. “She gave birth to her firstborn child, a son, wrapped him snugly, and laid him in a manger, because there was no place for them in the guestroom.” – Luke 2:7 (CEB). This Christmas we want to make room for Jesus and open our hearts and homes to experience God’s peace, hope, joy, and love.
