How to Solve Any Problem

Pastor John Palmieri – View Notes

  • Logistics are a way to solve problems.
  • If something can be fixed, it’s a problem.
  • Something that can’t be fixed is a fact of life.
  • Write down and define the problem as clearly as possible. Write down everything you know about the problem.
  • Decide what you can do to fix the problem.
  • Prayer is thinking deeply in the presence of God.
  • Gather others and brainstorm solutions together.
  • Leaders are problem solvers. They anticipate problems and find solutions.
  • Evaluate your ideas for the best options.
  • Pray and ask God for wisdom. Ask God to open doors. Let God give you the final solution.
  • Create an action plan: objective, strategy, action steps, deadline.
  • Put controls in place so it doesn’t rise to that level again.
  • What did God teach you through this problem?
  • BONUS: Avoid the negativity trap.

  • Two mindsets – fixed mindset vs. growth mindset
  • Fixed mindset – those that think that capacity/thinking cannot be changed; it limits potential
  • Growth mindset – those that believe they can develop, learn from challenges/mistakes, they learn applicable patterns from others that are successful, helps reach full potential
