CHRISTMAS FOR MISFITS

Many people think that before they can come to church and follow Jesus, they must first get their life in order. But Jesus never says that. In fact, Jesus came from a long line of misfits and he himself was a misfit – rejected, misunderstood, mistreated. Jesus came for imperfect people, the broken, the outcast, for those who don’t fit in, for you and for me. At Christmas, we celebrate Jesus who came for the misfits, to rescue and redeem us, that we would become children of God.

NAVIDAD PARA LOS OLVIDADOS

Muchas personas creen que antes de venir a la iglesia y seguir a Jesús, necesitan tener sus vidas en orden, pero Jesús no espera eso. De hecho, Jesús viene de una línea donde no se le reconoció al ser maltratado, rechazado y malinterpretado. El vino a las personas imperfectas, los quebrantados y aquellos que han sido aislados. En Navidad, celebramos a Cristo, quien vino para todas las personas marginadas sin esperanza para rescatar y redimirlas al ser hechos hijos de Dios.
