Planning Center

Planning Center is our Church Management Software (ChMS) and includes apps for managing people, groups, check-ins, event registration, service planning, and more! Here is a brief overview of the software available:

• People – Enter contacts into the database for follow up and communication
• Groups – Create groups for people to join and empower your leaders to care
• Check-Ins – Provide a safe and secure check-in experience for children’s ministry
• Headcounts – Take attendance and track other ministry metrics
• Registrations – Promote events and manage sign ups (paid and unpaid)
• Services – Plan your Sunday services and schedule ministry teams

Below is an overview of the migration and training timeline. We will provide training dates both in person and online. You must receive approval from your location pastor to attend the training and receive admin permissions. Click the button below to sign up for a training date.

Migration and Training Timeline

• June 1-4 – Data Migration – Central Services will migrate all of the people database from Online Community (Church Community Builder) over to Planning Center.
• June 16-21 – Training Week for Pastors, Staff, and Key Volunteers – Sign Up Here
• June 23 – Transition data entry and follow up process to Planning Center People. Begin using Headcounts app to submit attendance, baptism, and Sunday metrics

July – Transition Month

• Begin setting up and using the new tools in Planning Center alongside your existing tools in Online Community until you are ready to fully transition.
• Choose a Sunday to do a soft launch of new the Check-Ins app for children’s ministry
• Begin setting up your Life Groups in the system for the Fall
• Create new event Registrations and add to your calendar

August – Go Live

• August 3 – Go Live with new Check-Ins app for Children’s Ministry
• August 11 – Invite Life Group leaders to manage their group members, attendance, and events
• August 23 – Essentials Conference for Life Group Leaders, Youth, Young Adults, and Awana Leaders. We will have a short demo and training for Life Group
• August 24 – Go Live with Church Center app for congregation
