Easter is coming soon! You may be feeling like you’re running out of time and what’s done is done. But there are still a few things you can do before Easter that can make a big impact.
- Website updates. People will be checking out your website this week for service times and other information about the church. Make sure you have current messages, news, and events posted and write a personal welcome message for those who are looking for a church this Easter.
- Email invite. Email is a fast, free, and effective way to reach people directly. Write a short invitation from the pastor and include all of the important information about Easter. Make sure the email goes out early this week so people have time to prepare.
- Social Media. Post about your Easter events, service times, and invite people to share. Create an event on Facebook or go live to get the word out. Also it’s not too late to run a digital ad! For just $10 a day you can reach thousands of people in your area.
- Fast and Pray. Perhaps the best thing we can do is spend focused time in prayer this week and ask God to prepare people’s hearts and minds to receive the gospel message.
- Share the story. Share scriptures that point to Jesus and reflect on the meaning of Easter this week.
