We hope you have enjoyed the Unstuck study and we are nearing the end. This Sunday we are inviting people to identify their bold step and celebrate together as a church. You can help get people thinking about their bold step this week in your group.

As we look to November and December here are some ideas for continuing with your group…

1. Continue with the sermon series. Our series in November is on spiritual gifts and your group could continue to meet, discuss, and apply the Sunday morning message.

2. First Steps books. If you haven’t done these, they are excellent studies to help people grow. Begin, Grow, and Disciple books are currently available.

3. Small group resource library. Check with your location about what small group studies they already have in their library. You could check out one of the DVD studies that have been previously used. Ask other small group leaders for recommendations.

4. Study a book of the Bible. You have about 6-8 weeks until the Christmas season, so you could go through a letter like Ephesians or 1 John. You probably don’t want to start Deuteronomy right now–you won’t finish until next summer!

5. Build community. Small groups are more than a Bible study. Continue to build community in your group by sharing stories, praying for one another, and reaching out to others. Plan a night for worship and prayer, host an outreach in the neighborhood, or find an opportunity to serve the community together.
