This Sunday is a great chance to ask your church to invite their family and friends for Christmas. We already talked about how personal invitation is the number one way that people come to church. Here are some easy ways to do it.
- Check in on Facebook. Facebook likes when people do this and it shows up higher in the News Feed. When someone checks in, it includes a personal referral, map, and a link to your page. If people want to post a short note or photo they can do that as well. Download PowerPoint template to customize.
- Send a text message. Pause during the service and ask everyone to pull out their phones (yes phones in church), pray, and text one person in their contacts. You could also message someone on Facebook or another app. Be sure to include a link to christmasatnewlife.org
- Invitation cards. Do you have extra invite cards sitting in the office? Gather them up and hand them out this Sunday for people to give to someone and invite them to church. Still have extras? See if you can put a few cards in local businesses or hand out at the train station. Don’t leave any invitations in the drawer!
